We had visitors last night and look what they did to my Roses. It seems as though some Deer came over for dinner last night uninvited. They ate every last rose bud I had. I was going to cut another 12 roses this morning to make a bouquet for my guest room . Each bush had at least 20 buds on them and this is what I found...

my mother in law gave us those curly skewers for our anniversary..so Im not sure where she found them. But aren't they cute?? hehehehe
Well - at least they left the actual bush! I actually had a shark,..no no, I mean dear attack some rose bushes and the bushes were eaten all the way down to the ground! Obviously they did not survive such an attack. I first thought that someone had stolen them. :0(
Anyway - your blog is beautiful. Look forward to seeing more. I am just getting started with mine.
I just hopped over to your wonderful blog...what a shame the deer ate the roses. Bunnies are a problem at our house. I have to put lots of my perennials in cages or they will eat them to the ground.
Roses are so beautiful, what a shame they are gone.

Sounds like a little bad luck like me!! The only differance is...i could have prevented my little bad luck/(all my fault!!)
