Thou only for a short time, I get to be surrounded by my Treasures of the Season.

Before I send them off to there new homes, I snap a Picture or two, to keep for my Memories.

Perhaps it was seeing the new "Christmas Carol" Movie last night that has made me realize how quickly the Holidays are coming. It was a wonderful Movie, and I really enjoyed. And it was totally inspiring as well. My most favorite of this seasons movies.

Remember

American soldiers sacrifice so much,
All for the freedom of our country.
Leaving their families and heading off to war,
Not knowing what the future holds.

Working day and night
Determined to stay strong.
Watching friends be killed every day
Letters from home inspiring them to keep fighting

So little is given to them
Although there is little to do,
For those who have died in war
We can still remember

Remember all the men who have died.
Remember all the battles fought
Remember all the tears families cried
Remember it was freedom the soldiers brought

To this very day soldiers are under-appreciated
Veterans Day is the day
For the dead, living, and fighting soldiers
To be remembered

I took a little break and went away with my Sweet Husband, to the Sugar White Sand Beaches of Pensacola FL.

On one day, all I did was sit on the Beach, snap pictures with my new camera He gave me for our Anniversary last month.
And on another day, I found these Shoes.

And when I came HOME...

I LOVE White Wednesdays & THE FALL.

I love this store, and this picture on their site is so beautiful. I'm back home again from a short getaway to Pensacola FL, had a great time, but didn't want to miss posting something for White Wednesday. So here is what is on my mind...

What I love most it the stacked logs the bed is resting on. What a great look, who wouldn't want to sleep on that?

I may have to try this in the guest room someday.

It' a busy time of year and I have my hands to work.
But it is a Glorious day and I took some time out to enjoy a bit of it, taking it all in, and snap a picture to share for this weeks White Wednesday.

I'm Inspired ...

A new Blog Banner, Decorating for Fall, room re-do's for the season and of course Christmas. All the sewing and creating I'll be doing to the next couple months is exciting to think about. Santa's, Angels, what will they look like...Primitive, Whimsy... I can't wait.

Celebrating perfect Fall days...

Watching those favorite Halloween & Christmas movies, a chill in the air in front of a roaring fire, wool socks, and my Roxy laying across my feet keeping them warm.

And Dreaming of the snow that is to come, Brrr...

Well I've already started my Santa's a month or so ago.

Shabby Beds...

Well, the shop I had found and was going to post about, didn't work out so well. Lets just say, not much there,

so I'm talkin beds for this weeks White Wednesday...

I painted this bed (my bed) about 15 years ago. And I still love it today as I did when I painted it.

But I must confess, this paint job, it was purely by accident.

These are very old pictures, not one of these rooms looks like this anymore. All have been re-done and twice over. But I still love the looks.
