Joyful Stitching...

It has been so beautiful here in Virginia lately. Everything in bloom, nourishing rain and delicious Sun Shine. All my roses are blooming beautifully and I haven't paid a bit of attention to them.
My attention has been on my dollies. I thought I'd share some random pictures of some of my latest work.
Some have already found homes but thought I'd share anyway.

"RUTH"
Now avalible at
is a sculpted paper mache colonial style doll. Dressed in blue, trimmed with tea stained seam binding and Millinery flowers pulled from an old worn hat. Hand painted face, and tiny painted shoes.

Silly girl... Fancy new hairdo

She carries a tiny cream color strawberry wool pin keep, for any quick stitches she may have to do.

And a few random pictures of some soft sculpture dollies I made.

Well, this is what I've been working on all Spring.
