More Tinsel Trading...

I just have to share this book I picked up on my trip to

The Tinsel Trading Company in NYC.

I've looked at it & read it nearly everyday since we arrived home.

It is just full of lovely pictures of the most

beautiful treasured notions from the turn of the century.

And what a great read it is as well, all about how the Tinsel Trading Co.

got started, and where all these beautiful treasured trimmings came from.

It is also full of wonderful projects to do yourself.

Well, I think I'll curl up in a chair with a cup of tea

and flip through the pages just once more.

I took a little trip to NYC last weekend.

We had a Fantastical time in the

Big City.

It was a belated Birthday trip my

sweet Husband planned for us to see the

Tim Burton
Exhibit at the

Museum of Modern Art.

We had to wait for the snow to melt

and the weather to warm up a bit.

So all warmed up, we hopped a Train from DC

and headed up to New York City for the weekend.

The first place we headed to, was the

Tinsel Trading Company,

I just could not resist stopping by this place I have heard so much about and pick up

a few treasures for my Dollies.

And of course I had to snap a few pictures

of this beautiful Notions dreamland.

I tell you this place had me spinning.
