My Alice...

It's A Wonderland Art Doll Blog Event!

Here is a peek of my sweet Alice, nearly ready for Tea. 

 My Alice has hand sculpted paperclay arms, 

 head and body & fabric legs. 

  Synthetic hair, scrap trims and a vintage button.

 She is all hand painted with a antiqued crackle finish.

 there is no end to this Madness.

Oh, its just another Alice...

I've been working on a few characters, but Alice seems to be my favorite.

And well, the others will just have to wait to be finished.

 "Will I ever Learn to do the things I should"?

 This Alice is hand sculpted from paperclay,

from Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke Va.

 A while back I made my first trip to 
Black Dog Salvage and was so overwhelmed by all the 
White Chippy Tin they had. 

I thought I was a kid in candy land.
